Graduated from Üsküdar American Academy and the Department of Management at Boğaziçi University. She went on to complete an MA at Plymouth University’s Dartington College of Arts, where she focused on oral and written stories, working closely with the British writer Martin Shaw on her thesis.
Her novel Hoyrat was published in 2024, following her earlier work Ağıtların Tanrısı (2021). In her children’s Noa series, she explores themes of death, grief, and impermanence. She writes on contemporary world literature for OT Magazine and lives in Istanbul with her two children.
