Sepin Sinanlıoğlu graduated from Üsküdar American Academy and completed her undergraduate degree in Business Administration at Boğaziçi University. She went on to complete a master’s degree in oral and written storytelling at Dartington College of Arts, Plymouth University, where she worked with British author Martin Shaw on her thesis.
Her novel Hoyrat was published in 2024, following Ağıtların Tanrısı in 2021. She is also the author of the three-book Noa series for children. Her latest book, Çocuk, Yaşlı Ağaç ve Hikâyeler, is written for both children and adults.
She writes on contemporary literature for OT Dergisi and has written plays for the Monologues Museum Project. She lives in Reşitpaşa/Emirgân, Istanbul, with her two children, their cat Sussex, and their dog Alice.
